The Sesto Elemento was a technology demonstrator built to show how much weight Lamborghini could remove. The body and chassis were made almost entirely from carbon-fibre, and the car weighed around 999 kg. It used the Gallardo's 5.2 litre V10 and all-wheel drive, which gave it a power-to-weight ratio close to a race car. It was not road legal, and only 20 were built.
