The F40 was the last Ferrari personally approved by Enzo Ferrari, and it was built to celebrate the company's 40th anniversary. It was stripped of carpets, sound insulation and most conveniences, and the body was made from Kevlar, carbon fibre and aluminium. The twin-turbo V8 produced 471 bhp, and the car could reach 324 km/h. It was raw, demanding and utterly focused, and it became the defining supercar of its generation.
