The Testarossa was the defining Ferrari of the 1980s, with its wide body, prominent side strakes and long horizontal tail lights. The flat-12 engine was mounted behind the cabin and produced 390 metric horsepower, and the car was capable of 290 km/h. It was more spacious and more usable than the BB it replaced, with a cabin that could accommodate two people and some luggage. It became a poster car for a generation.
