The Evora was Lotus's attempt at a more usable sports car, with a mid-mounted V6, a 2+2 cabin and a longer wheelbase. The S version added a supercharger, raising output to 345 bhp and cutting the 0-100 km/h time to 4.8 seconds. It was softer than an Exige but still remarkably capable, and it gave Lotus a credible rival to the Porsche Cayman.
