Pagani Utopia

The Utopia is Pagani's third model line, after the Zonda and the Huayra, and it refuses several conventions of the modern hypercar. There is no hybrid system. There is a seven-speed manual gearbox alongside an automated option. The engine is a 6.0 litre twin-turbo V12 built by Mercedes-AMG, producing 852 bhp and 1,100 Nm. The body is rounder and quieter than the Huayra's, with exposed carbon, a large glass canopy and the quad central exhaust that has become a Pagani signature. Production is limited to 99 cars. The Utopia is less a response to lap times than a statement about craft, and in a collection it adds a counterpoint to the hybrid hypercars that surround it.
