The second-generation NSX was a very different car from the original. It used a mid-mounted twin-turbo V6, three electric motors and a nine-speed dual-clutch gearbox, with torque vectoring at the front and rear. The result was 573 bhp and all-wheel drive, with a chassis tuned for both road and track. It was technically advanced and genuinely fast, although it lacked the purity that made the original NSX a landmark.
