The 2020 GT500 was the most powerful street-legal Ford ever built at the time. Its 5.2 litre supercharged V8 produces 760 bhp, sent through a seven-speed dual-clutch gearbox. The chassis was developed alongside the GT350 and GT350R, with magnetic dampers, a long list of cooling upgrades and a large aero package. It was a supercar in a muscle-car suit, capable of lap times that embarrassed much more expensive machinery.
