Overview
This page is a catalogue summary while we rebuild it as a full ownership review. It is not yet a buying guide.
The Atlantic is the most celebrated of all Bugatti road cars, a coachbuilt coupe with a riveted aluminium spine running down the centre of the body. Jean Bugatti's design was aerodynamic and sculptural, with a long bonnet, a teardrop cabin and a sharply tapered tail. The supercharged 3.3 litre engine produced around 200 bhp, which was extraordinary for the period. Only four were built, and three survive.
