Overview
This page is a catalogue summary while we rebuild it as a full ownership review. It is not yet a buying guide.
The RS2 Avant was the first Audi RS model, developed with Porsche and based on the 80 Avant. Porsche tuned the turbocharged five-cylinder engine, upgraded the brakes and suspension, and added the now-familiar RS bodykit. The result was an estate car that could accelerate to 100 km/h in under five seconds and carry a family in comfort. It established the formula that Audi's RS division still follows.
