Lamborghini Countach LPI 800-4

The Countach LPI 800-4 is a limited-run reinterpretation of the LP500 prototype that defined the wedge in 1971. Lamborghini kept the mechanical layout of the Sián: a 6.5 litre V12, a supercapacitor instead of a conventional battery, and all-wheel drive. The combined output is 803 bhp. The body carries the original cues, including the sharp nose, the NACA duct on the flank and the hexagonal wheel arches, but every surface is reshaped for modern cooling and crash standards. Only 112 cars were built. It is not a continuation of the original Countach so much as a argument about why that shape still matters. In a collection it closes the circle between Lamborghini's past and its hybrid present.
